David Martin Thibodeau born January 8, 1971 to George Ann and Raymond Thibodeau in Amsterdam, New York. He passed away peacefully Friday, August 27, 2021 surrounded by his childrens and loved ones in Lakeland, Fl. David is survived by his children: Emilee Thibodeau and Brennan Thibodeau of San Antonio, Fl; His forever love: Jamie LaForest and her children Cody Dyess and Lukas LaForest of Lakeland Florida, their dogs Cookie and Reese. His mother: George Ann (Anthony) Franchi from Stuart Florida; his sister: Dorothy (Guy) Glidewell of Herkimer, New York; his brother: Darren Thibodeau of Naples, Florida; his sister: Dawn (Ted) Trenton of Stuart Fl; Many nieces and nephews and friends he all considered family. David was preceded in death by his dad: Raymond Thibodeau, stepmom: Pauline Thibodeau and Bella, our dog. David worked for Reynolds and Reynolds as an advanced service consultant for 22 years, where he met some of his best friends. He loved to watch football and never missed the Bucs or Gators game. He knew every NASCAR or Indy car driver car details and statistics as well military jets, planes, and ships. David was an avid model Builder where he built hundreds of motorcycles, race cars and specialty cars for people around the world including Rick Hendricks, Chip Gnassi and Roger Penske. David was well-known around the world for his DTModelArt Instagram page and his DTModelArt YouTube channel. He had thousands of followers and he considered all of them friends. David loved his music; he played guitar with a friend in a band named Driven from 2012 to 2014. He loved to play for his family and his friends and played nightly to Jamie. He was so proud of everything Emilee and Brennan accomplished so far and will remain by their side forever. A Celebration of life will be held September 1, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. A time for visitation will take place before service from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
