STATEN, David, 56, of Dade City, Florida passed away Saturday, April 9th, 2022. David was born November 16, 1965 in Dade City, Florida to William Roy Staten Sr. and Deletha Yvonne Johnson. He was born and raised in Dade City and graduated from Pasco High School. David worked as a automotive partsman since he was 18 years old. David grew up with his brothers: William Roy Staten Jr. "Dub", Tim Staten "Timbo" and Terry Michael Puckett "Mike" and his only Sister: Sybil Renaye Chapman (Jim). He married his wife: Sharon Thomas. David loved fishing, NASCAR, and football. He was well loved by his costumers, friends, and family. David is preceded in death by his brothers: William Roy Staten Jr., Tim Staten and Terry Michael Puckett. He is survived by his wife: Sharon Thomas; Twin stepdaughters: Toni Castergine and Tomi Thomas; Step Grandchild: Ethan Castergine; Parents: William Staten and Yvonne Johnson; Sister: Sybil Chapman; Nieces and nephews: T.J. Staten, Anthony Staten, Victoria Staten, Tony Staten, Jeremy Staten, Melanie Staten, Jenny Parks. Brother-in-law: Jim Chapman and father-in-law: Robert Wood. A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Hodges Family in Dade City, Florida. A time of visitation will take place prior to service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Internment will follow services at Dade City Cemetery.
