Smith, David E., 63, of Dade City entered into rest Monday May 23,2016. David was born in Georgiana, AL On October 1, 1952 to James and Margarite Smith. His family moved to Florida when he was 3 months old. He worked at Lykes Pasco for 27 years as a maintenance mechanic, until he became disabled and couldn't work anymore. He is survived by his wife: Brenda J. Smith of Dade City, FL, mother: Margarite Smith of Tampa Fl, four children: David (Sara) Smith of Cairo Ga, Pamela (Eric) Rathel of Cairo Ga, DR (Denise) Foote of Clanton, Al, and Melissa Foote of Dade City, Fl, one sister: Marie Wood (Robin Stock) of Dade City, Fl and two brothers: Billy Smith (Marie Schofield) and Bobby (Pansy) Smith both of Dade city, Fl, Eleven grandchildren: Summer, Dasie, Zachary, Tre, Peyton, Chad, Kaitlyn, Austin, Tylor, Mikaela, and Michael, and a host of Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Dad James Smith, and one brother: James Scruggs. Visitation will be Saturday May 28,2016 at 11:00 am, Funeral service will start at 12:00 pm.
