David P. Seekins, 63, of Zephyrhills passed away 08/23/2016 at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills. He was born 9/10/1952 in Belfast, Maine. He was 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army National Guard. Married July 10, 1970 in Belfast, Maine. Retired from Bay Area Medical Clinic as a nurse practitioner. David enjoyed camping and fishing but above all, he loved his family. preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Joan Seekins. Survivors include beloved wife of 46 years, Laura Seekins of Zephyrhills; 2 sons, Jeffrey (Della) Seeking of NC, Shannon Seekins of Floral City; 6 grandchildren, Jennifer Carpenter, Jessica, Justina, Madison, Jackson, and Liberty Seekins; 4 brothers, Robert (Shirley), Aaron (Dona), Matthew (Loretta), Mark (Roxanne); several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 1 grandchild, Janie Seekins who passed away in 2001. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Humane Society of ASPCA.Celebration of Life will be Saturday, August 27th 5-8 PM at Lions Club Zephyrhills.
