David J. Pileggi went home to Jesus on Friday, April 9, 2021, at 11:15 A.M. He was 75 years old.

David was born to Rev. Vincenzo and Vincenza Pileggi on March 14, 1946, in Little Falls, New York.

As a child, he knew that the Hand of God was over him. He was a great student and loved baseball. At the age of 16, David became a born-again Christian under the ministry of Dave Wilkerson. He then began his lifelong relationship with our Lord.

David met his wife, Stella Orlando, in 1966 while attending Vacation Bible School. They were married one year later on July 1, 1967, and went on to have two sons, David Jr. and Mark. In 1968 David and Stella moved to Massachusetts.

David graduated from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY receiving a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, and received his Master of Science in 1971. He also earned his MBA from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1984. He specialized in Electrical Engineering and worked for Massachusetts Electric Company (now National Grid) for his entire career of over 30 years. He was known worldwide for his advanced studies in Harmonics working with Professor, Dr. Emanuel of WPI. He was a major player of the Hydro Quebec Project. In addition to his school and work career, Davids love for the Lord guided him to become a licensed minister through the Assemblies of God in the 1980s. In 2003 he became a licensed minister, through Foursquare Church, International.

David joins his parents, Vincenzo and Vincenza, his sister and brothers Victoria, Mike, Joseph, James, and Andrew in Heaven. He is survived by his wife, Stella, his sons, David Jr. and Mark, his grandchildren Hannah, David III, Luke, and Noah, as well as his brothers John and Ross.

There will be a gathering of family and friends on Thursday, April 15 from 1-3 pm. The funeral service will begin at 3 pm followed by a reception. All will take place at Hodges Family Funeral Home 54 Chapel, Zephyrhills, FL.
