MUSSELMAN, David Emmett 75, passed away peacefully at his home in Dade City on February 17, 2016. David is survived by his wife Marilee (Lee) of 25 years, his sister Jeanie Bauern (husband-Dennis) of California, sister-in-law Carolyn Hray, and brothers in law Jim Minard and Paul Mosser. David enjoyed flying, boating and tennis. He loved his time in the US Navy as a Naval Aviator. United Airlines hired David as Pilot soon after his discharge, where he spent the next 24 years flying for United Airlines from home base in Chicago. At retirement, David completed the United States Coast Guard 55 Ton Licensed merchant Marine Officer course and once again became captain of his own ship, a Charter fishing boat in Kew West. David loved boating and taught all his children water safety and seamanship skills. His children are David J. Musselman (wife-Jennifer), Tolliver Frazier (wife-Sabrina), Joshua Frazier (wife-Lisa), Rosilee Crimi, and Gabriel Musselman. David also had very special relationships with his niece and nephew, Dana and Michael Bauern. In addition to his nephew Joel Tyler Hray, niece Karen and grandnephews Ethan and Luke Hray held a special place in his life. David really loved all of his sweet grandchildren: Sidney, Sophia, Tolliver, Jr, Christopher, Isabella and baby Marilee. There will be a celebration of Davids life at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 11441 Hwy 301 Dade City on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 5:30.
