David Arthur McBride. Born December 29, 1948, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by loved ones on December 25th, 2022. He was in the construction field for the majority of his working career, as well as real estate. He enjoyed fishing, tubing with family and friends. He was an avid karaoke singer, he enjoyed music, his favorite genre was blue grass and old country. He loved to travel, family gatherings, and dancing as well as many other interests. He was predeceased in death by his parents, David O McBride and Frances Gill. His wife of 25 years Nancy McBride, Brothers; Eddie, and Randy of Dade City, Sisters; Barbara, husband Roy of Beckley West Virginia, Marie of Beckley West Virginia, Daughter; Lisa Gregory of Virginia. The ones left to cherish his memories are his longtime partner Shirley Duvall of 21 years. Daughters; Rose Jeffries and husband Joe of Dade City, Florida, Verna Whitfield of Warren AR. Son; David McBride and wife Christy of Dade City, Florida. 18 grandchildren, 9 great grand children and a large extended family. He will be missed by all. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens in Dade City, Florida.
