David Edward Cowley passed away at age 65 years old on January 2 , 2023 at Advent health hospital Wesley chapel surrounded by his wife, Sarah, stepson Chris and a long time friend Avelina.

David was born on February 15, 1957, in Baltimore , Maryland.

He has one child ,David Jr. the light of his life , from a previous marriage.

David served as a U. S navy for ten years. Due to a car accident he had to retired and moved to ZEPHYRHILLS to be with his Dad and start a new life as a single man.

He enjoys watching his favorite t. v shows like classic war movies, western movies and comedy. He is a big fan of John Wayne movies. He likes to tell stories about his experiences on the navy, likes to joke around and make people laugh . He had that big smile on his face that is contiguous.

He was always helpful to anyone in need. He enjoys helping others and also proud to served his country.

David remarried Sarah , the love of his life from the Philippines and been married for more than 18 years. They both enjoy car rides, going to flea markets and he love his wifes cooking. David has four step children from Sarah. He brought three of them here in US from the Philippines and treated them just like his own children and grew close to them over the years.

David is a proud grandpa to his two grandchildren ,Tristan and Dominic followed his footsteps.They are both now in the military.

David is survived by his spouse Sarah Cowley, his son David Cowley Jr., grandchildren Dominic, Tristan, Dorian, Ariana and Sophia Cowley. His parents Barbara and Edgar Cowley , passed away the previous years.

His step children Angela Lapada, Salve Van Allen, Christopher Lapada . Andrew Lapada.

His step grandchildren Mia, Robert Van Allen, Luna and Zander Hartman.

His sibling, Alice Valentine , Nieces and nephews Jacqueline Schaufele , Stephanie Blaton, Daniel Williams, Jessica Bucci Greenbelt and Kelly Boone , Samuel and Charles Cowley, Ryan Schaufele and William Ranson.

There will be a funeral service held at Victory Baptist church ZEPHYRHILLS on January 6 at 9:30 a.m.
