SEXTON, Dave, 72, of Dade City, FL, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 28, 2023. He was born January 17, 1951, in Martin, KY, to the late Elkana and Louvern Osborn Sexton, where he was the ninth of fourteen children. Dave married Lisa McClain Sexton in 1986 in Daytona Beach, FL. Dave worked as an appliance repairman before becoming an HVAC technician and worked for Pasco County as a supervisor, then going on to retire from the Pasco County School Board. He was drafted into the United States Army where he worked in communications and then continued to serve his country in the Army Reserves. Dave enjoyed being with his family and was very proud to be an Elder of First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Zephyrhills, FL. He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa of 37 years, Son Aaron (Sherry) Sexton of California, Daughter Rev. Cassandra (Rev. Michael) Sexton-Riggs of Illinois, Grandson Dylan Sexton of North Carolina, three brothers, four sisters, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
