Daryl Gene Schooler, age 72, of San Antonio, Florida, passed away on May 21, 2026. He was born on October 15, 1953, in Ferriday, Louisiana, and was raised in Winnsboro, Louisiana.

He is survived by his wife, Hope Schooler; his sons, Hoff Schooler (Pam) and Bryce Schooler (Amanda); and his daughter, Kara Crawford (Greg). He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Kaleigh, Kerington, Addison, and Blake.

He is further survived by his brother, Bubba Schooler (Libby); sisters-in-law, Connie Schooler, Pat Schooler, Kecia Coburn (Stan), and Dawn Dubois (Clyde), along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arrie Lee and Harold Schooler, and his brothers, Tom Schooler and Butch Schooler.

A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Gulfside Hospice.

Daryl will be remembered by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
