Daniel Joseph Wright passed away peacefully at home on December 5th at the age of 61 after a battle with lung cancer. He is survived by his loving companion, Rose, his daughter, Erica Wright, siblings Ken Wright, Larry (Nelly) Wright, Kathleen Wright, and Maureen (Rick) Tillman. He is preceded in death by his brother, Michael. Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Dan lived in Florida since 2000. He was an avid reader and loved trivia, always willing to share what he called "useless yet mildly interesting" facts. He was also a huge sports fan, especially the New York Mets, Detroit Lions and Michigan Wolverines. Dan will be interred in Resurrection Cemetery in Grand Rapids, Michigan alongside his parents, Caroline and Gerald. His family requests that any donations be made to the cancer advocacy organization of the donors choosing.
