RYAN, Daniel A., 91, passed away quietly Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in Wesley Chapel, FL. Based in England during WWII, he was a distinguished and decorated bombardier navigator. Dan received and MBA from New York University and enjoyed a long career at Friendly Ice Cream Corp. He was a generous and loving husband and father, who enjoyed skiing, golf and world travel. Dan will be greatly missed by his wife of 63 years, Barbara G (Atkinson), sons Philip J.A. Ryan, M.D. of Shepherdstown, WV, Gregory K. Ryan of Westwood, MA, daughter Glen Ellen (Ryan) Brown of New York City, and six grandchildren. Private family service and burial will be in Massussettes.
