It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Mason, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. Daniel passed away peacefully on May 24, 2024 at the age of 76.

Daniel was born on August 1, 1947. He proudly served his country as a dedicated member of the United States Army. After his military service, Daniel worked in the telecommunication field and traveled the world. He spent many years living and enjoying his time in Romania and upon returning to the United States found joy in the game of golf, a sport he played passionately throughout his life. His love for the game was matched only by his love for his family.

Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Maureen, and his daughters, Carolyn (Kent), Michelle, and Jill (Vincent). He was a proud grandfather to five wonderful grandchildren, Ryan, Haley, Kent, Marina, and Kellen and his legacy continues through his one great-grandson, Orion.

Daniel's kindness, strength, and unwavering love for his family and friends will be deeply missed. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A catholic mass will be held on June, 5, 2024 at 10:30am at Our Lady of the Rosary in Land O Lakes (2348 Collier Pkwy, Land O' Lakes, FL 34639), Florida, followed by a military burial at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell Florida at 1:30pm (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513). In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Samaritans Purse.
