Our family is sad to announce the passing of Daniel OConnell Culliton Jr, Daddy, Papa Dan, Brother, Uncle, Friend to Many on February 18, 2021.

He was born the 2nd child of Daniel OConnell Culliton Sr and Ruth Rita Powers Culliton on October 8, 1939 in Marlborough, Mass. He is preceded in death by his parents, his eldest sister Ruth Janet Floyd, and his two brothers Charles Henry Culliton and John Joseph Culliton.

He is survived by his brother Thomas Francis Culliton (Pam) of St. Louis, MO, and sister Rita Ann Culliton Fischer of San Antonio, FL, daughters Dana Marie Ward (Mike) of Dade City, FL, Kim Therese Teal (Scott) of San Antonio, FL, and Melissa Jo Logan (Robert) of Dade City, FL and ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

His family moved to Florida in 1952 and finally settled in San Antonio, Florida. He attended and graduated from St. Leo College. After college, he served in the Army Reserves. Following his service, he managed his familys poultry farm. Once the farm sold, he was the acting Director of the Pasco County Housing Authority until his retirement. In the end, he was under the care of Gulfside Hospice and was surrounded by family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Anthonys Catholic School, San Antonio FL, or Gulfside Hospice.

Visitation/Rosary will be held at Hodges Funeral Home located at 11441 US Hwy. 301, Dade City, FL on Monday, February 22nd from 5-7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 23rd at 10 am at St. Anthonys of Padua Catholic Church, San Antonio, FL. Internment at St. Anthony Cemetery on Palm Ave.
