Courtney E, Krysa, 22, died. Sunday, May 12, 2019, from injuries sustained
in a vehicle accident in Ruskin, Florida.
Courtney was born November 7, 1996, in Buffalo, NY, but lived in Clifton
Park, NY, Freehold and Manalapan, NJ, before calling Tampa, Fl her home.
She has become best known for her battle with Lyme disease, but never let
the disease define her and ultimately won the battle against the devastating
illness. Courtney was an intelligent, compassionate, inquisitive, beautiful
young woman. In the short time we were blessed to have her here with us
she truly made a difference for the good! To know Courtney was to love
Courtney! She gave so much of herself to the people she loved and was
willing to make sacrifices and forgive others so easily. Courtney had the
ability to get beyond the superficial surface to truly get to know a person.
She cared about people and made a difference in the lives she touched
while she was here on earth. She had so many aspirations and it is with
great sadness that she we will never have the opportunity to meet her full
potential and attain the greatness she seemed destined for.
She is survived by her mother Katie Krysa; father, Michael Krysa; sister,
Kasey Krysa; maternal grandmother, Linda Goodine; maternal grandfather,
Charles Goodine; Paternal grandmother Geraldine Krysa; Uncle and Aunt,
William and Jennifer Goodine; Aunt and Uncle, Deborah and Timothy
Swartz; Aunts, Carrie Mendola and Susan Krysa; Cousins, John and Brian
Swartz and Katie Wolski
She is preceded in death by grandfather Paul Krysa.
