Constance H. Dixon, 79, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2012. She was born November 4, 1932, the only child of John and Helen Niemiec. Connie graduated from N. Tarrytown High School. She married the love of her life, Lloyd T. Dixon on October 1, 1955 at Holy Trinity Church in Utica, NY. Connie was previously employed by Tarrytown Savings and Loan in Tarrytown and Oneida Ltd in Sherrill, NY. She enjoyed cooking, bingo, and being with her family. Connie most enjoyed the infinite well of love and endless joy she gave and received from her family. Her resiliency and courage will always be admired and remembered. Surviving are her husband, Lloyd of Zephyrhills, FL; daughter, Laurie Dixon of Zephyrhills; son, Douglas Dixon of Brookfield, CT; two grandsons, Spencer and Noah Dixon, a special cousin, Marcia Janowski, who was like a sister, of Vernon Center, NY as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family wishes to thank the Palliative Care Team at Tampa General Hospital and Life Path Hospice for their enduring care over the past few days.
