Connie Louise Baker, a cherished resident of Dade City, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024, at the age of 82. Connie was born on August 1, 1942, in Springdale, Arkansas to parents Jack and Maxine Weston, where she began a life full of love, warmth, and kindness. Connie married the love of her life, Wade P. Baker Jr., on August 5, 1960.
Connie graduated from Whittier High School, setting the stage for a life dedicated to family and community. A devoted housewife, Connie created a home filled with joy and comfort. She was a woman of many talents and interests, including a keen passion for antiquing, a love for nurturing her garden, and a gift for playing the piano that enchanted her family and friends.
Connie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wade P. Baker Jr., and her son, Wade P. Baker III, both of whom she treasured dearly.
Connie's legacy lives on through her children, Shelli Weeks (Trevor) and Jarret Baker (Shannon); her adoring grandchildren, Joshua, Tyler, Kaitlin, Nolan, and Farron; and her great-grandchildren, Zayden, Samuel, Melody, Ezekiel, and Isaac. The family eagerly awaits the arrival of her great-granddaughter, Meribelle.
Connie's life was marked by her profound love and commitment to her family, along with her enduring friendships and the countless lives she touched with her kindness. She leaves behind many other friends and loved ones who cherish her memory and the joy she brought into their lives.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11 am at the Brandon Elks Lodge #2383, 800 Centennial Lodge Dr, Brandon, FL 33510.
