Columbus Edward Simpkins Jr "Eddie" 86, of Brooksville, FL passed away Tuesday, September 14th, 2021. He was born August 20, 1935 in Sarasota, FL to Columbus Edward Simpkins and Rose Marie May Simpkins. He was a US Navy Veteran and owned and operated Simpkins Timber Company for many years.

Eddie is survived by 2 children: Kelly Bush (Jeff), Gerald Edward "Jerry" Simpkins (Jennifer); 1 sister Barbara Ann Clark; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 4 children: Peggy Rose Munoz, Eddie Lee Simpkins, Theresa Lynn Simpkins, Shanna Marie Simpkins

Funeral Services will be held 11am Tuesday, September 21st, 2021 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City. Burial will follow at Brooksville Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
