RIMES, Cledith Elsie, 86 , of Kathleen, Florida passed away Sunday, February 27th, 2022 at home. She was born May 23, 1935 to Joseph and Ada Townsend. Cledith was one of eight children. She was a home maker and a ministers wife. Cledith and Vance married on July 7, 1955 and enjoyed 67 years together, growing their family by 3 children. Cledith enjoyed reading and coloring but mostly, her beloved family. She is survived by her husband of 67 years: Vance Elton Rimes; three children: Vance Rimes Jr. (Arisleida), Dana Rimes (Amy), Rhonda Lopes (Robert Moody) ; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Vivian, Lindsey and two brothers: Dwain, Gordon. Cledith is preceded in death by siblings: Carol, Vallery and Tommy. A visitation will take place from 10:30 to 12:30 on Monday, March 7, 2022 at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 1230 with burial to follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida .
