Claudia Roy Martin was born May 26, 1924 in Tampa, Florida. Her parents Charles and Mary Martin were immigrants from Hungary that arrived in Pinellas County in the early 1900s. She had two older sisters Nita and Margaret, and one younger brother Clarence. Claudia attended Hillsborough High School and graduated in 1942.

Soon after high school she married Reuel Holley. They had 3 children, Joyce, Roy, and Howard. She was a member of Seminole Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. She was also a member of the Trilby Doll Club.

Claudia was a talented seamstress and loved all types of hand work from re-covering furniture to creating miniature Christmas ornaments. She made some really cool clothes for the kids in the 60s and 70s. She especially loved to work on dolls and was known as "The Bear Lady" for her beautiful handmade teddy bears.

Claudia is survived by her son Howard Holley (wife Patricia), granddaughter Danielle Holley-Tassou (husband Paul) and grandsons Justin Holley, Richard Benjamin, Jeffrey Temple (wife Sarah), great grandson Zakkary Temple and great-great grandsons Harlan and Logan Temple.
