GARNER, Claudia was born in Meridian, Mississippi on June 21,1945 to Geneva Lucille Sheffield and Clay Alexander Sheffield. She moved to Ocala and lived a third of her life there before moving to the Zephyrhills area to be close to her family. She was 76 years young when our Heavenly Father called her home. We said goodbye to her, here on Earth, on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. Claudia was a wife, homemaker, seamstress, car saleswoman, computer mechanic, chief bottle washer, friend, cuisine wizard, and too many others to count. The ones that she excelled at most were that of Mother and Granny! Claudia was a nurturer at heart. She showered her love on the young and the broken. If you were hungry she would feed you. She was a giver and it showed in how she took care of those around her. If you wanted something, she did everything in her power to make sure you had it. She was a step-mom to 8 children that she raised at various periods of their lives through the years. She experienced the loss of two babies at birth. She fed and made clothes for everyone, and thought about everyone in all the little things. She used all of these gifts to show and teach her family love and how to take care of one another. She is survived by her husband, Stevan Eugene Garner; daughter April and Thomas Perry, step-son, Stevan Jr.; beloved sisters, Helen and Joe McConnell, and Betty Sheffield; grandchildren, Corey, Lauren, Jarid, Brittany, Jeneva, and Stevan Lee; great-grandchildren, Jameson and Aubrey; nephews and nieces, Michael, Leslie, Hope, Billy Sue, Steven, and Kris, their spouses and children; All of her extra children: Diane, Becky, Sharon, Darla, Cricket, Sandy, and 11 extra grandchildren. She is joining in Heaven her parents, Clay and Geneva; her siblings, Clayton William "Bill" Sheffield, Oscar Perry "Joe" Sheffield; her babies, Jim Paul Kain Jr. and Jim Kain II; and countless aunts, uncles, church family and friends she missed.
