Mr. Claude Jackson age 82 of Lutz, Florida passed away Friday July 24, 2015 with his family by his side. Claude is preceded in death by his wife Sharleen; brother Orville; sisters Una, Lelie, and Frances. He is survived by his sisters Mary Criswell and Patty Haroll; daughter Cindy (Tom) Kamp; and son Claude (Frances). Grandchildren: Tom (Beverly) Kamp, Nicki Jackson, and Great Grandchildren: Julia Thomas, Sophie Thomas, Jackson Kamp, and Gina Cillo, many nieces and nephews also survive.His passions were fishing and people following the law. Claude worked alongside his father in the family door business until he entered the U.S. Coast Guard. He graduated from Hillsborough High School in 1951 and then entered the U.S. Coast Guard where he served his country faithfully for seven years. After his tenure with the Coast Guard, Claude worked and retired as a police officer for the Tampa Police department. He was an avid Bucs fan, and enjoyed rooting for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. A Graveside service will be held July 29, at 2pm from the Florida National Cemetery. A memorial services to celebrate the life of Mr. Jackson will be held August 4, 2015 at 2 pm from the All Saints Lutheran Church located at 5315 Van Dyke Road Lutz, Florida 33558; (813) 963-0969.
