Obituary

Reverend Clarence Alfred Harrie, age 84, a resident of Zephyrhills, Florida, born May 8, 1938, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, February 3rd, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Reverend Clarence loved preaching the gospel and being a Pastor. He was a licensed minister of the United Pentecostal Church for over 50 years. Prior to his retirement in 2007, Clarence had served various churches in Canada and the United States. Through his ministry and love for God, he touched and inspired many people. Even in his retirement in Florida, he was actively teaching the gospel to others and involved in his local church. Everywhere he went, he gained a friend and left a positive impact on those he met.

In his spare time, Clarence loved to paint, read and write. You could always find him with an open book at a local coffee shop, reading, writing, and talking to others about his love for the Lord. He had a generous spirit, a great sense of humor, and a laugh that was infectious to all of those around him. He was preceded in death by his son Douglas Harrie, and his parents Clarence Mahlon Harrie and Mary Margaret Harrie. Surviving are his beloved wife of 56 years, Barbara Tripp Harrie, his four children, his much-loved eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and many friends.
