Cindy Carolyn Peterson, 55, of Zephyrhills, Florida, went to be with the Lord on July 13, 2026. Born on June 18, 1971, Cindy grew up in Lansing, Michigan, before later moving to Florida. Cindy was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Although she struggled with health issues for most of her life, her spirit was never broken, her faith never wavered, and her heart remained compassionate and kind—she loved everyone who touched her life. Her kind heart and sweet soul will be missed by many.

Cindy is survived by her mother, Christine Muscott, and stepfather, Monte Muscott; and stepmother Jeanne Pahucki. Cindy also leaves behind fiancé, Luke Brawner; three siblings, Lauri Dunn, Tracy Geer, and Vicki Muscott; nieces and nephews, Alexis (Alex) Graves, Matthew (Madeline) Mireles, Benjamin Mireles, Cassandra Geer, Kaylee Dunckel, Savannah (Austin) Bruce and Chance Dunckel; as well as multiple great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, John Peterson.
