Cheryl Ann (Wilkinson) Campbell, age 64, passed peacefully on May 3rd, 2018 in her home surrounded by the same enormous amount of love that she gave. Cheryl was the loving (and perfect) wife for her husband Neil whom she leaves behind. Cheryl leaves behind two devoted daughters- Karen Coad of Tampa, FL and Brenda Campbell of Greenville, NC. The center of her recent world, were her two beloved grandsons- Austin & Drew Coad who best loved her as GiGi. Cheryl was born on October 29th, 1953 in North Stonington, CT-one of four close-knit girls born to Dolores and Richard Wilkinson. Cheryl leaves behind her loving sisters, Donna Fallon of Central Village, CT and Janet Larkin of New London, CT. and also her faithful mother, Dolores (Hutchins) Wilkinson of Punta Gorda, FL. Cheryl is predeceased by her father, Richard Wilkinson of Punta Gorda, FL- a man of boundless character and kindness. Cheryl is also predeceased by her loving sister, Nancy Browning of Punta Gorda, FL. Cheryl was also the doting aunt of several beloved nieces and nephews.

Cheryl will be remembered by all she encountered as an unequivocally kind and Godly woman- to those who deserved it and to those who didnt. Hers was a type of sweet that came from inside- there was no hiding it. She is best remembered by her homemade sweaters, homemade cookies and most importantly her heart of gold. Funeral services will be held at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, FL on Wednesday, May 9th, 2018 from 1-3 pm.
