Charlotte Evanell Townsend Tomkow from Trilby FL, passed away Peacefully & Gratefully on June 15, 2020 at home, surrounded by her Loving Family & Friends. She was 90 years old.

She was a lifetime Homemaker & Proud to have raised her family as a Farmers wife in Trilby FL. Her true passion was singing with the Toast of Tampa Show Chorus for over 23 years & playing bridge with her "Bridge Bunch" of friends!

Charlotte was born on October 2, 1929 in Lakeland, FL to Harmon Franklin Townsend and Eva Texas Crews Townsend. She married Frank T. Tomkow on December 2, 1947. The two were married for 43 years, operating Tomkow Farm & Seed Business in Trilby before Franks passing in 1990. Frank & Charlotte left a Legacy of a Family, Survivors include: daughters, Beth Tomkow of Naples, FL, Francine (and Richard) Hancock from Blanton FL; Ann (and Jack) Johnson from Immokalee FL; Lisa (and Bob) Hinton from Riverview FL, and son, Frank Harmon (and Teresa Holmes) Tomkow from Trilby FL.

Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren: Chris & Jaclyn Hancock (Jackson, Tyler Faye, Heston & Lainey); Jonathan & Andrea Hancock (Hadley & Colton); Carissa (Johnson) & Dan Burdette (Amaryn Clint & Myra Johnson (Josiah & Audrey Lynn); Shane & Jess Hinton (Further, Iris Melissa (Hinton) & Jake Raburn (Jackson, Mason, Clayton Rainey Tomkow & Chase Tomkow... Each & Every one were Precious and Dear to her Heart and Loved beyond words. Charlotte was a Wonderful Mom, a Truly Precious Grandmother & Most Prized GiGi, she will be Missed Dearly.

Other Special and Cherished Family members include, Marcia Tomkow & Family; the Ankoviak Family; and the Townsend Family. Family "By Heart" includes The Meltons (Jack, Steve, Johnny, Becky, Mark, Joe and Families) and her caregiver and special angel Valerie Holmes.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Brothers, Curtis & Ray Townsend; Husband, Frank T. Tomkow & 2nd Husband Glenn A. Whittington and Best lifelong friend Virginia Melton.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:30am at Trilby Cemetery 21436 Trilby Cemetery Road Dade City, Florida 33523 on Saturday June 20, 2020 with a reception at Charlottes Trilby home immediately following.
