PUTNEL, Charlie, age 87, passed away at his home in Dade City, FL on September 6, 2020. He was born on December 5, 1932 in Williston, FL to parents Joseph Putnel & Courtney Vivian (Lyons).

Charlie was a proud veteran of the United States Army.

Loving survivors include five sons: Kenneth Putnel, Joeseph Putnel, Dennis Putnel, David Putnel, and Shawn Putnel of Weatherford, TX; one daughter, Cynthia Putnel of Weatherford, TX; one sister, June LaRock; and nine grandchildren: Steven Putnel, Ashley Putnel, Emily Putnel, Chad Cornwell, Melanie Cornwell, Dylan Rosebrock, Ayden Putnel, Cloe Putnel, and Myles Putnel.

A visitation will be held from 10-11am on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City. A funeral service will begin at 11am. Charlie will be laid to rest at a later date at Fort Hill Memorial Park in Lynchburg, VA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a Childrens' Hospital of your choice.
