Charles Bert "Chuck" Wright, aged 75, formerly of New Port Richey, Florida passed away at his home on January 28, 2024, in Zephyrhills, Florida. He was born on September 11, 1948, in Jamestown, New York. Chuck was a devoted husband to Cecilia M. (Maggie) Wright and a loving father to Cameron M. Wright, Whitney K. Zampini (Damian), Ryan C. Barnhart (Roy), D. Michele Waters (Mike) and Benjamin D. Jackson (Danielle). Chuck had 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, a sister Sherry B. Lamothe (Don) and brother Kasey C. Wright. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Chapman "Chap" and Sherry Mae Stockton Wright, and his brother, Kert B. Wright. Chuck was the owner of C B Wright Construction, Inc, dedicating over 35 years to his craft. His commitment to his work was matched only by his love for his family and his enjoyment of life's simpler pleasures. A 1966 Gulf High School alumnus, Chuck served his country honorably in the United States Navy for six years on the nuclear submarine, USS Alexander Hamilton, a period that greatly shaped his character and values. An enthusiast of his local baseball league, fishing and dancing, Chuck found joy and excelled in these pastimes making many lasting friendships and memories along the way. Chuck's memory will be cherished in a Celebration of Life, to be held at a date to be announced, where loved ones will gather to honor his legacy. Arrangements are being handled by Hodges Family Funeral Home, Dade City, Florida.
