Charles Stanton, 73 of Zephyrhills, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2012 in Zephyrhills under the care of Gulfside Regional Hospice. He was born May 27, 1938 in Cortland, NY to Willard & Ruth Ketchum Stanton and was a retired Truck Driver. He is survived by his wife of 28 years: Sandra Stanton, Zephyrhills; 4 stepchildren: Devon Johnson, Massachusetts, Dennis Baker, New York, Deborah Morton, New York, Douglas Baker, North Carolina; 2 brothers: William Stanton, New York, Gerald Stanton, New York; sister: Mary Ellen Price, New Hampshire; and 7 grandchildren: Nicole Baker, Douglas Baker Jr, Rebecca Morton, Elyssa Baker, Edward Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Elliot Johnson. A memorial service will take place 11am Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the New River Methodist Church in Zephyrhills. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in his memory to the Food Pantry at New River Methodist Church.
