Charles Harold Palmer, age 85, went to His Heavenly home on Friday, June 23, 2017. Charley proudly served over 20 years in the United States Air Force serving at many different military installations. Upon his retirement in May 1968, he and Beverly packed up the kids and moved to East Tawas, Michigan where he lived and worked for the next 25 years as an accountant, eventually owning his own accounting firm. He was a member of the Masons, Eastern Star and Lions Club. He also was a member of the Tawas United Methodist Church. He is predeceased by his parents, Calvert and Louise Palmer, brother Bobby and sister Larraine Griffith. Charley is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Beverly (Knight) Palmer of Zephyrhills, Florida, children Chuck (Jan) Palmer of Frankenmuth, Michigan, Susan (Ron) White of Enterprise, Alabama, Jim (Maria) Palmer of Findlay, Ohio, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, sister Pat (Michael) Anderson of Largo, Florida, brother Frank of Venice, Florida and a long list of extended family and friends. Funeral services are incomplete at this time.
