Charles "Charlie" Keith passed away at home on Friday, September 13th at the age of 76. He was born on January 28, 1948 in Dade City to Carroll and Gertrude Keith. He was a lifelong resident of the Dade City area, and went to Pasco High School. He worked as a mechanic for Keith Brothers Tractor and the City of Dade City for many years as well as being a citrus grower. Charlie loved being outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter, as well as tending to a large vegetable garden, but he was best at being a husband, a dad, and a papa. Charlie was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church where he was a member of the Cemetery Care Committee for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Carroll, his mother, Gertrude, his brother, Jerry, his uncle Earl Eaddy, his niece, Greta, Mother-in-law Elizabeth Cannon, and Sister-in-law Mary Cannon Cabot. He is survived by his loving wife, Helen Cannon Keith, daugher Danielle, and grandson, Colin. He is also survived by his brothers, Alfred (Gloria), Larry (Linda), Lamar (Fay), sister Cathy Lee (Walt), sister-in-law Margie Hust (Jeff), and Brother-in-law Robert Cabot; nieces, Ada, Becky, Heather, Lauren, Mandy, and Kristen; nephews, Greg, Garrick, Jerry, Sammy, Nelson, Marcus, and Jason; along with many great nieces and nephews. His services will be held at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in San Antonio on September 19, 2024 at 10 AM with the viewing before the Mass at 9 AM also at the church. Burial at Garden of Memories off CR 52 in San Antonio. Gathering afterward at the Knights of Columbus Hall. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Saving Paws at 9716 Moore Road, Lakeland, FL 33809. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
