CALA, Cecil May, age 94, of Lutz, passed away in Dade City, FL on March 26, 2023. She was born on October 9, 1928 in Grantsville, WV to parents Cecil Hall & Dosia Hall Betts. Prior to living in Florida, Cecil attended the University of Akron in Ohio, where she also worked as a secretary. She spent many years in the trucking industry and also worked as a school bus driver and certified nursing clerk. After retirement, Cecil enjoyed her time as a gardener and also enjoyed working at flea markets. Cecil is survived by her children: Debbie Spoonmore, Tony Cala, and Penni Cala; grandchildren: Dusty & Afina Spoonmore, Tony & Shi Cala, and Shaun Dees (Wendy); and nine great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A private memorial service will be held in Zephyrhills, FL.
