Cecelia Alice Steffek, 66, passed away on April 18, in Dade City, Florida. She was born to Joseph and Marian Steffek in Amsterdam, NY. Cecelia was a Medical Technologist for many years in the Albany, NY and central Florida areas and adjunct professor at St. Leo University. She worshiped at St Rita Catholic Church in Dade City. Cecelia is preceded in death by her father: Joseph; infant brother: Joseph and niece: Monika. She is survived by her mother: Marian; sister: Barbara (Alan) Slade; brothers: John (Stephanie) and Anthony Steffek; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial graveside service will be at St. Anthony Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or any local hospice center.
