Catherine "Gladys" Paulas, was born on April 27, 1948 in Cap Haitian, Haiti with roots in Montreal, Canada, then settling in New York City for the majority of her life. Catherine moved to Wesley Chapel, Florida in 2009 to live our her final years.

Catherine, better known to her family and friends as "Gladys" or "Ti Ba", worked in the medical field as a Home Health Attendant providing comfort and care for over 30 years in the New York City area.

Gladys has brought an enormous amount of joy and laughter to anyone who had the pleasure of meeting her. Her intoxicatingly contagious laugh will be sorely missed.

Gladys leaves behind her only daughter Yamana Paulas, followed by her siblings: Marlene Bazile, Marie Carol Bazile, Rodrigue Bazile, Roger Bazile and Claude Bazile and Gerlene; in addition to several nieces and nephews all of which she adored and loved with all of her heart.

Services were held 1pm Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Hodges Family Funeral Home on Hwy 54 in Zephyrhills.
