Caterina Rocchio 88 years old of Wesley Chapel Florida passed away on April 27, 2022. She was born on October 13, 1933, in Gallo Matese, Italy to parents Rosa Palumbo and Domenico Perrino who preceded her in death along with siblings; Michael Perrino Mary Quaglia, Antoinette Del Vecchio, nieces and nephews: Angelo Rocchio, Dominic Quaglia, and, Patty Del Prete. Her education took place in Gallo Matese Italy where she graduated. Caterina navigated from Italy in her early teens, where she did not know the language or the culture of America. She moved to Manhattan then to the Bronx than to Long Island; she had moved back to the Bronx and then moved to Florida, her final resting place. Caterina enjoyed her shopping, the excitement of casinos, and traveling. Her greatest joy was chatting all night with her loved ones, but her greatest achievements were being the best Mother, Wife, Daughter, Sister, and Zia. Angelo Rocchio and Caterina were married on July 24, 1954, in Gallo Matese Italy for 67 wonderful years. She is survived by; husband; Angelo Rocchio, Angela Rocchio-Calandra, (FL) Anthony Rocchio (FL), and Rosa Rocchio-Pedoto (NY) children: Angela Rocchio-Calandra and Michael Calandra, Anthony Rocchio, Rosa Rocchio-Pedoto, and Michele Pedoto, grandchildren: Audra Rose Rocchio-Calandra, Caterina Maria Pedoto, nephews/nieces: Angelo Rocchio, Dominic Del Velcchio, Anthony Rocchio, Linda Rocchio, Patty and Joseph Del Prete, Johnny Quaglia, Dominic Quaglia, Domenica Perrino Pasqua Perrino, Anthony Perrino, John Del Vecchio, Antoinette "Annie" Perrino, Rosemary Perrino, Lisa Perrino, In-Laws: Antoinette Rocchio- Perino, Angelo Rocchio Friend; Aida Rizzo and pet; Tanya The family will receive friends at Hodges Family Funeral Home & Cremation 11441 US HWY 301 Dade City, Florida 33525 on Monday, May 2, 2022, from 1 pm - 2 pm with the funeral mass starting at 2 pm.
