BECKUM, CARRIE J, 76 of Zephyrhills, Florida passed away in her sleep on May 25, 2022.Carrie was born in Livingston, Montana to parents Robert S. Baty and Beatrice M. Lombus onApril 30, 1946. Carrie spent most of her adult life in Dade City, Florida.Carrie was preceded in death by the love of her life, Ronald O. Beckum, who she married onMarch 21,1964 in Dade City, Florida; her daughter Amanda Wilson; her parents Robert S. Batyand Beatrice M. Lombus and her brother Sherman T. Baty.Carrie is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Adams of Zephyrhills, Florida and Jennifer PiziakWinter Garden, Florida. Her sisters Sidney Reva of Zephyrhills, Florida and Mary Ellen Dykas ofColorado. Her grandchildren, Amber Couch of Zephyrhills, Florida; John Quillen Jr. ofZephyrhills, Florida; Ayla Cottrell of Bangkok, Thailand; Frederick Hess IV of Winter Garden,Florida; Justin Griffin of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Kaleigh Hess of Haines City, Florida; andTriston Beckum of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Carrie also had six great grandchildren.Carrie worked for years at Lykes Pasco Packing Company. She found a new career later in lifeas a teacher's assistant where she loved working with the kids. She enjoyed being creative andcooking for her family as well as playing computer games that challenged her mind such aspuzzles and word games.Carrie had a profound impact on everyone in her life and she will be dearly missed by all herfamily members and friends.
