Newton, Carolyn F., 83, of Dade City, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025. She was born September 10, 1941, in Orlando, FL, to Dallas Richard & Mattie Lucille Crook and was an active member of Calvary Assembly of God Church in Dade City. She began her career with the old Jackson Memorial Hospital and retired as the Risk Management and Quality Director at AdventHealth Dade City.

Carolyn is survived by her son Tyke Newton; 3 grandchildren: Erica, Boomer, and Nicholas; 2 great-granddaughters Mattie and Emma; 2 brothers: Richard Crook, Jim Crook (Joy); her sister-in-law: Cindy Crook; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Gerald W. Newton, her son Alan Newton, and her brother Glenn Crook.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Calvary Assembly of God. Interment will follow at Floral Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends two hours before service time (12:00 pm - 2:00 pm) on Thursday at the church.

Flowers will be gratefully accepted, or those who wish may make donations in her memory to either the American Cancer Society or the Gerald Newton Scholarship program.
