Obituary

On Tuesday, September 10th 2024, Carole L Smith passed away at age 81. She is survived by her daughters Mindy Smith, Carey Smith (Nancy Petschl) and Julie Smith, grandchildren Kyle Smith and Bryna Smith, her cherished great grandson Matthew Smith and brother William Edwards. Predeceased by infant son Brantley Smith "Little Brant".

Carole was a longtime Zephyrhills resident and City employee.

She was known for telling funny stories and gardening in her yard, growing many beautiful flowers. She enjoyed watching her shows, especially Blue Bloods and Yellowstone. She helped those in need by providing food, shelter and care in her home for family and friends alike. She was a regular donor to charities St Judes and Shriners. She will be dearly missed.

A time of visitation will take place on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, Florida. The memorial service will follow at 10:30 a.m. The committal service will take place at Floral Memory Gardens in Dade City.
