Carol Christine Yount, 82, of Zephyrhills, Florida, formerly of Gainesville, Florida and New Carlisle, Ohio passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022 following a brief illness. Carol was born February 12, 1940 in Clark County, Ohio to Joseph E. and Mabel R. (Simpson) Strome. Raised and lived in New Carlisle, Ohio for 43 years and in Florida for the last 38 years. Carol worked as a beautician for many years in Ohio, and retired as a courier for First American Title Company in Florida. Carol was proceeded in death by her loving husband in 2016, Charles Irwin Yount. Survived by five daughters, Candy (Ron) Williams, Cindy (Greg) Roan, Cheri (Roger) Phipps, Carrie (Scott) Otis and Christy Hoffman, nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great, great-grandchild. Services were held privately by her family.
