Carol Ann Serwatke (1943-2025)

Carol Ann Serwatke, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on January 19, 2025 leaving a void her family cannot fill.

Carol was born in Cudahy, Wisconsin in 1943 to Walter and Evelyn Pendzich. She was a devoted wife of 61 years to Robert Serwatke, proud mother to Cindy Powell (Duane Powell) and Susie Drauer ( Mike Drauer), adoring grandmother to Ryan Rundell (Nicole Rundell), Reanna Rundell, Emma Drauer and Alexandra Drauer and loving great grandmother to Jace Rundell, Zander Rundell, Anthony Rundell and Zyaire Rundell.

She was a loving sister to Walter Pendzich II deceased (Barbara Pendzich), Dennis Pendzich, Nancy Brossman deceased (Jeff Brossman deceased), and Paul Pendzich and adoring aunt, great aunt and friend.

Carol graduated from Notre Dame High School. She worked in the medical field most of her career until she retired. She took special joy in spending time with her family and had many fond memories of camping, going to Disney and on cruises. She was a talented artist and loved sewing. Carol loved her dogs Kikko, Molly and Savannah, elephants and tulips. She was always smiling and everyone who knew her loved her silly sense of humor. Carol's family and friends will never forget the love and fun she brought to their lives. The service for Carol is scheduled for Saturday, February 1st at 1:00 pm at Hodges Funeral Home, 36327 State Road 54
