HALSTEAD, Carol, age 74, passed away under hospice care at the Frank & Helen DeScipio House in Tavares, FL on January 17, 2020. She was born on October 15, 1945 in Clairton, PA to parents John & Kay Lawrence. After graduating from Clairton High School, Carol went on to become an administrative assistant for the majority of her career. She was a woman of faith and attended the Assembly of God church. Although she will be remembered for her fun loving spirit and love of animals, Carol will be remembered most of all for being a devoted wife and mother. Along with her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Spencer; and her great-granddaughter, Chloe. She leaves behind one son, James L. Wilcoxon (Tina); two granddaughters: Chrystal Wells (Micheal) and Meaghan Dykes; three grandsons: Christopher Coffelt (Taran), Christopher Dykes (Sasha), and Brian Dykes; and eleven great-grandchildren: Briona, Christopher, Ashley, Ciara, Jordan, Zayden, TeeJay, Logan, Serina, Keagan and Liam.A graveside service will be held at 2pm on January 20, 2020 at Floral Memory Gardens in Dade City, FL.
