Carol Sue Buchanan, 78, of Auburndale, Florida passed away July 14, 2022 at Home. She was born July 28, 1943 in Brookville, Ohio to Clyde and Marcella Reichard. She was one of 5 children: 4 girls and 1 boy. Carol and Francis Eugene married and began a family of their own. She enjoyed ceramic, crochet, making necklaces, and especially enjoyed playing solitaire on her iPad. She is survived by her husband: Francis Eugene Buchanan; Children: Jeffrey Buchanan, Scottie Buchanan, Gary Buchanan; Daughter-in- laws: Kathrin Buchanan, Deb Buchanan, Debbie Buchanan, Michelle Wright-Buchanan; Grandchildren: Jessica and Eddie Idlett, Dakoeven and Destiny Buchanan, Aaron and Chandler Buchanan, Ryan Buchanan and Taylor , Emma Buchanan, Gabby Buchanan, Hayley Buchanan (Greg Vansluyters) , Ashton Buchanan, Eliza Buchanan, Taylor Buchanan; 6 great-grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild on the way; 2 step-great-grandchildren. Carol is preceded in death by parents: Clyde and Marcella Reichard; Son: Michael Buchanan and her siblings. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, Florida. A visitation will take place prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.. Interment will follow services at Chapel Hill Gardens.
