Carlton Judge Jr, 90 years old passed away September 2, 2024, at his beloved James Haley Veterans Hospital, Tampa, FL. With his wife and son by his side.

Pete, as he preferred to be called, was a loving and devoted family man and friend to many. One of his proudest life accomplishments was his time spent in the Marine Corp. followed by 28 years working in environmental services at James Haley Veterans Hospital. His love of the U.S.A and his fellow veterans was immeasurable.

He served in the Vietnam War and flew 17 combat missions. He was stationed in Okinawa, Japan for six years.

Pete enjoyed traveling, fishing, barbecuing, and his grandsons. He took great satisfaction in volunteering as an Ombudsman.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends who have cherished memories.

He is survived by his wife Rita, son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Amanda, two grandsons Jonah and Jason Jr, and many other family and friends.

In honor of Pete, services will be held at Hodges Family Funeral Home located at 36327 State Rd 54, Zephyrhills, FL 33541, on Saturday, September 14, 2024, 3:00pm to 6:00pm.

Military Funeral Honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery located at 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513, on Monday, September 16, 2024 at 12:30pm
