Carla Sue Hawk, 69 , of Ridge Manor went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 10th, 2022. Carla was born February 26, 1953 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Leonard and Zada Hawk. She graduated from Warren Central Highschool and attended Nazarene College in Kankakee, Illinois. She was very talented; She sung, played piano and violin. Carla sang with a group called "The Now Generation" traveling over parts of Indiana and Illinois. During the summers, She worked at East gate Mall as a retail clerk. In 1986, She moved to Florida. Carla sang in choirs and played the piano for 14 years at Ridge Manor Baptist Church. Carla stayed busy with her multiple talents, she could even sew. She loved her family, friends and the Lord. She is survived by her Mother: Vada Hawk; Brother: Gil Hawk; Sister-in-law: Kathy Hawk; Nieces: Megan (Joe) Modlin; Lindsey Campbell, Jennifer (David) Ferryman; and beloved great nieces and nephews. Carla is preceded in death by her father: Leonard Hawk.
