McBATH, Brittney Marie 27 of Dade City. Brittney was born in Pembroke Park, FL to Dr. Daniel & Brenda (Scharber) McBath. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, where she was an altar server. She attended St. Anthony Catholic School from kindergarten through the 8th grade, and then attended high school at the Academy of the Holy Names in Tampa, where she graduated with honors in 2008. After graduation she attended and was a very proud 2012 graduate of the University of Florida, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. While at UF she was a member of the Tri Delta Sorority and Crusaders for Christ (Cru); she loved the Gators! Brittney was currently living in New York City pursuing a career in fashion. She was working full time and was attending Parsons School of Design. Brittney proudly served as a member of the Young Leadership Committee for the Lupus Foundation of America, Northeast Chapter and dedicated many hours with the Emerging Leaders Circle for the Evening of Hope Gala. This national event celebrates leaders in the lupus community as they work towards a life free of lupus. She was preceded in death by her father Dr. Daniel P. McBath, her maternal grandparents Bill & Mildred Scharber and paternal grandfather, Dr. Donald McBath. She is survived by her mother Brenda Scharber McBath of Dade City, brother and sister-in-law Brandon & Jessica McBath of West Palm Beach, FL, sister Brooke McBath of New York City, paternal grandmother Mrs. Ruth McBath of Dade City, and an extended, loving family of many uncles, aunts and cousins. Brittneys family will receive friends on Monday, Oct 9th from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, with a rosary service taking place at 7:00 pm at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in San Antonio, Florida, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:00 am on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017. Brittney will be laid to rest at St. Anthony Cemetery in San Antonio, Florida.
