Brenda Mae Sessoms, age 78, of Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, in Zephyrhills.

Brenda was born on February 4, 1947, in Raeford, Hoke County, North Carolina, to Robert Lee Sessoms and Lula Mae Sessoms. She spent her early years in North Carolina before moving to Florida, where she graduated from Pasco High School in Dade City.

Brenda worked faithfully as a sales clerk in a convenience store and served as a devoted Avon Representative. Known for her kind heart and gentle spirit, she spent her life valuing simple joys and meaningful relationships. She loved fishing—especially with her late brother Perry and their family on Lake Okeechobee. Brenda also had a passion for travel, visiting with friends and loved ones whenever she could.

A woman of deep faith, Brenda found great joy in singing and participating in church activities at Dade City Grace Bible Church, where her brother Willard served as pastor. Her commitment to the gospel and her church community was a defining part of her life.

Brenda is survived by her loving brother, Willard L. Sessoms and his wife Virginia of Dade City, FL. She was a beloved aunt to nephews Byron (Susanne and son), Will (Rhonda), Steve (Trina and children), Tim (Sue), and nieces Teresa (Tim Gould and children) and Melissa (and children). She was preceded in death by her brother Perry Sessoms and his wife Diane.

Though she never married or had children of her own, Brenda poured her love into her family and friends, leaving a legacy of warmth, faith, and fellowship.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor Brenda's life.
