Brenda M. Campbell Morriss, 60, of Zephyrhills, FL passed away on May 27, 2016 surrounded by her family and friends. Brenda was born on December 2, 1955 in Canton, OH to the late Merrill J. Campbell and Ruby M. Burwell Campbell Vint and moved to Florida in 1973. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Jennifer Nohrer and Tasha Gross (Sam); son Adam Benjamin; brothers Allan Campbell (Niela), Wesley Campbell (Adela), Merrill Turk Campbell and Dayrl Campbell; sisters Roseanna Teeple (John), Bonnie Lipke, Sandy Hemphill (Gerry) and Carol Dickinson (Randy); grandsons Joshua, Justen, Coty and Kyler; granddaughters Amber and Samantha; great-grandchildren Isabella, Emeral, Jayda, Brantley, Brayden, Aulanah, Peyton, Jacob and Aubri; a large extended family; her beloved dogs Ladybug and Buttons; and many friends. Brenda was a true gift and loved by everyone who knew her. She was kind, fun-loving, had a pure spirit, and was a caregiver and compassionate by nature. She worked at St. Josephs Hospital for 29 years where she touched many lives and made many friends. Her caring was limitless and selfless and extended to many including family, friends, animals that she rescued and cared for, and the homeless - which was her ministry. Brenda loved spending time with her family and friends and they were her most valued treasures - loved beyond words. She loved animals especially dogs and skunks, nature and the outdoors, music, chick flicks, and dessert - chocolate and pumpkin topped the list. She had a special love for autumn and Christmas and all of their beauty and magic. She had childlike wonder, a contagious smile, genuine gratefulness, and she truly loved life. She believed in all things good God, family, love, honesty, generosity, forgiveness, friendship, and random acts of kindness. Brenda was, and is, loved tremendously and the legacy that she leaves behind is beautiful. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on June 4, 2016 at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 36327 FL-54, Zephyrhills, FL 33541, 813-788-6100, with visitation from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm and the service from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.
