GADDIS, Bonnie Jewel, 95, of Plant City, Florida passed away January 24, 2022. She was born January 2, 1927, in Gadsden, Alabama to Jeff C Crowe and Ruby Eller Enterkin. Bonnie was a very active member of the community, working with the Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, a member of the Women of the Moose in Dade City and a member of St. Marks Lutheran Church in Tampa. Bonnie and her late husband; Clayton Gaddis, opened the Snack bar/Caf at the Dade City Courthouse for the Division of the Blind Services. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, crocheting and loom work. Bonnie loved to tell her stories of meeting famous people, such as Elvis Presley. She met him when he was a lowly delivery driver to the Walgreens in Memphis where she had worked.
She is preceded by her late husbands: Jack Lyndol Hicks and Clayton Gaddis.
Bonnie is survived by daughters: Debra Hicks and Linda Dunn, and son: Troy Hicks. ; Grandchildren: Rickey Dwayne Dunn, Eric Wayne Dunn, Spenser Addison Hicks, Tyler Even Hicks, Madison Noel Hicks; Great Grandchildren: Kolby Richard Dunn, Tysen Mark Dunn, Carter Wayne Dunn, Amelia Rose Dunn And her 22 year old cat, Gracie.
