Bobby Ray Wooten, 85, passed away on June 28, 2025 in Zephyrhills, Florida.
Bobby was born on August 30, 1939 in Plant City, Florida. He worked hard throughout his life and built a good life for himself and his family.
He and his beloved wife Joyce were married for over fifty wonderful years. He was a devoted husband, father, friend, and neighbor who loved his wife, three children, and two grandchildren more than anything. Known for his big personality and quick sense of humor, he loved joking with people and telling stories that left everyone laughing. He was a generous man and was always ready to lend a hand or offer support.
He is survived by his wife Joyce, daughters Dana Gold (Ben) and Jennifer Wooten, grandchildren Chloe and Zachary Gold, and many other relatives and friends who will miss him deeply. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Edna and Delmer Wooten, his sister Wavene Jameson, and son Arrick (Ricky) Wooten.
Family, friends, and neighbors are invited to remember Bobby on July 14, 2025, with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. and a memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m.
