Bobbie Jean Connors was born on April 10th, 1929 to Preston Fleming and Loette Bedsole Fleming in Kinston, Alabama. On March 23rd, 2022 the Lord called her home. She left a handwritten letter saying "Remember, Ive waited for this for a long time. Its a happy occasion!"
She is one of nine siblings. She is preceded in death by Eloise Roberson, Don Fleming, and Reggie Fleming. Her remaining siblings are Doyle Fleming (Lois), Janice Lang, Sue Seay (James), James Fleming, Mike Fleming (Ellen), sisters-in-law Wanda Fleming and Patty Fleming. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. Bobbie was blessed to have a large and loving family that will miss her.
Bobbie served in the Army where she received her degree as an RN. She was stationed in Germany and worked in the operating room. She met her husband William "Bill" Connors while in Germany. They were married for 56 years and were pillars in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. They were very involved in the church and loved working with the youth groups in CCD. The Lord was always present in their home. Bobbie was a caregiver and was always there to help anyone in need. She enjoyed working in her yard and tending to the flowers at the church.
The funeral service will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 32145 St. Joe Road, Dade City, FL 33525 on Saturday, April 9th, 2022 at 11:00 am.
